Ticopa australis

The identification of this spider was derived from a paper by Dr. R. Raven, Senior Arachnologist, Queensland Museum.

It is rather different in appearance when compared with most other Australian corinnids. In addition, it is not often seen by the general public because it is mainly restricted to semi-desert parts of Queensland, NSW, South Australia and Western Australia.
