Known range: Recorded from the north coast of WA across Arnhem Land to Cape York and down the Queensland coast, with occasional examples also in Sydney and Melbourne.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Several other salticids with a similar body shape, including Sandalodes bipenicillatus.
