Neosparassus species |
(Identification based on similarities with known Neosparassus species)
female: at least 15 mm|
male: slightly smaller than female
Note: Most specimens found by accident will probably be immature
This spider mostly rests on or under green leaves in eucalypt forests but is sometimes found in a retreat made from a green leaf
Uncertain; may cause mild illness or local pain and inflammation
It appears that there may be several huntsman species that are greenish in colour but otherwise resemble the more common Neosparassus species in overall appearance.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Neosparassus species? and some other green-grey sparassids.
