This is one of the flatter salticid species that is better suited to hiding in small crevices than to jumping from surface to surface.

Known range: Only moderately common from Cairns down to South-east Queensland and single specimens allegedly found at Broome and near Sydney.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Ocrisiona leucocomis, Holoplatys planissima and Hemicloea rogenhoferi.
