Distinguishing features of this spider are its body shape and the pattern of markings on its upper abdominal surface, although these markings vary somewhat in appearance from specimen to specimen.
Known range: Recorded from Cairns, South-east Queensland, Longreach, Northern NSW, ACT, Adelaide, and Geraldton.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Cymbacha festiva.
