The patterns on the upper surfaces of this species facilitate its identification.

Known range: Found widely across eastern and southern Australia (but not Tasmania) including Townsville, Longreach, and South-east Queensland down to Melbourne and Eastern SA, as well as the South-west corner of WA.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Many darker coloured thomisid and salticid species.
