Holoplatys minuta

There is some uncertainty as to the species name shown on this page but it is used because the two pairs of curving white bands on the dorsal abdomen of this spider are present in the 1991 Zabka paper only on Holoplatys minuta. Unfortunately, Zabka makes no mention of the orange distal leg segments that the spider shown above has.

Known range: The only listed instance of this species being found was near Roma, Queensland.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Many other Holoplatys species.
