The above spider has the smoothly domed black head region, the dusting of white hairs on the carapace and legs, and the pattern of white marks on the dorsal abdomen that typify Nucastia species.

Known Range: Recorded as being in South-east Queensland and also in a band across central NSW to Adelaide.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Some other corinnids, especially other Nucastia species, and even some gnaphosids.
