This spider rests during the day wrapped around a small twig with its legs tucked in, thereby providing excellent camouflage

The toxicity of the venom of this species is unknown but it is not aggressive and is probably too small to cause illness in humans

The dark patch on each side of the abdomen of this species seems to be useful for identication purposes.
