Habitat:
Usually found under loose bark of tree trunks in eucalypt forests but this salticid may be also be found on green leaves
Toxicity:
Unknown. This species may at least produce local pain and inflammation but is very small and not aggressive towards humans

This is a notably very flat salticid species that is better suited to hiding in small crevices than to jumping from surface to surface.

Known range: Recorded as being in Townsville, near Barcaldine, South-east Queensland, Sydney, the ACT, and Hobart.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Most Holoplatys species as well as Ocrisiona leucocomis.
