Habitat:
Usually found under loose bark of tree trunks in eucalypt forests but this salticid may be also be found on green leaves
Toxicity:
Unknown. This species may at least produce local pain and inflammation but is very small and not aggressive towards humans

This is a notably very flat salticid species that is better suited to hiding in small crevices than to jumping from surface to surface. Because the state of maturity of this specimen cannot be determined from the available photos its species name is uncertain.

Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Most Holoplatys species as well as Ocrisiona leucocomis.
